We Make Science Awesome

The majority of instruction in American schools is direct – lectures and text. The most well known online curricula are no different – videos of lectures and text. Countless studies exist that prove that students learn best by doing – simulations, interactions, experiments, et. al. Additionally, the majority of assessments only measure the lower levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy. College and the work world demand more authentic evaluations on higher levels of knowledge. MySciHigh was developed with this in mind.

Prototype Pilot

MySciHigh built a working prototype and recently completed a 5 week pilot with 1 teacher and 25 students from the SMASH Academy at UC Berkeley.
